Falcon MCP

A stateless Model Context Protocol server exposing a reference graph for frontier design. It allows agents to perform full-text search, identify and compare file formats, find converters, retrieve definitions for terms and sensors, get company profiles, and list design jobs.

Endpoint and access

No sign-in to connect and list tools. Individual tools may still need a vendor account, credentials, or permissions; check the documented prerequisites.

What its tools do

7 tools, grouped by the hints the server advertises. Hints are self-declared, not verified behavior.

7 of 7 have a description · 0 of 7 declare behavior hints · 2 of 7 with parameters document them all

Checks and signals

Each line is separate evidence, not a trust score.

  • Passed Endpoint answered the live check ·
  • Passed Official MCP Registry namespace is tied to falcon.so ·
  • Passed Endpoint is on the registry namespace domain ·
  • Availability 1 of 1 checks passed in 30 days

What you can do with it

  • Search the reference graph for file formats and technologies
  • Identify file extensions and find conversion methods
  • Retrieve definitions for design terms and sensors
  • List live design and UX job roles at frontier companies

Tools

search
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.

Full-text search across Falcon's frontier design reference: terms, technologies, file formats, sensors, companies, tools, standards.

    }
  }
}
get_definition
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.

Get the definition and reference copy for a dictionary term, technology, sensor, or file format by slug (use `search` to find slugs).

get_definition input schema
{
  "type": "object",
  "required": [
    "family",
    "slug"

      "type": "string"
    }
  }
}
get_company
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.

Profile of a frontier company: what they build, why it matters for frontier design, competitors and technologies from the knowledge graph.

get_company input schema
{
  "type": "object",
  "required": [
    "slug"
  ],
  "properties": {
    "slug": {
      "type": "string"
    }
  }
}
list_design_jobs
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.

Latest design/UX/HMI roles at frontier companies (defense, robotics, space, industrial, health), refreshed from company job boards.

list_design_jobs input schema
{
  "type": "object",
  "properties": {
    "limit": {
      "type": "number"
    },
    "industry": {
      "type": "string",
      "description": "Industry slug (e.g. defense, robotics) — omit for all"
    }
  }
}
identify_format
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.

Identify a file format from an extension, filename, or slug (e.g. 'step', 'scan.mcap', 'gltf') and get how to open or convert it: what it stores, its extensions/MIME/spec, whether a free in-browser viewer exists, and available client-side conversions. Use for 'what is this file' / 'how do I open X'.

identify_format input schema
{
  "type": "object",
  "required": [
    "file"
  ],
  "properties": {
    "file": {
      "type": "string",
      "description": "An extension, filename, or format slug"
    }
  }
}
compare_formats
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.

Compare two file formats (by slug, extension, or filename) — extensions, category, and a verdict on when to choose each. Use for 'X vs Y' / 'difference between X and Y'.

compare_formats input schema
{
  "type": "object",
  "required": [
    "a",
    "b"
  ],
  "properties": {
    "a": {
      "type": "string"
    },
    "b": {
      "type": "string"
    }
  }
}
convert_file
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.

Find the in-browser converter (if any) that turns one format into another, e.g. from='fbx' to='glb'. Returns the tool URL and notes, all client-side (files never upload). Use for 'how do I convert X to Y'.

convert_file input schema
{
  "type": "object",
  "required": [
    "from",
    "to"
  ],
  "properties": {
    "to": {
      "type": "string"
    },
    "from": {
      "type": "string"
    }
  }

Each snippet registers the same endpoint; pick the client you use.

This server is operated by the named third party. Listing and endpoint checks are not an endorsement or a security audit. Review the operator's permissions, terms, and data handling before connecting. How listings are checked and corrected.

Claude Code

Run this once in a terminal. It registers the remote server. Use --scope project to write .mcp.json for the repo.
Claude Code configuration
claude mcp add --transport http falcon-mcp https://falcon.so/api/mcp

Codex

Run this once. Codex stores MCP servers in ~/.codex/config.toml (or .codex/config.toml in a trusted project).
Codex configuration
codex mcp add falcon-mcp --url https://falcon.so/api/mcp

Cursor

Merge this server into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, then enable falcon-mcp in your MCP settings.
