Crossref MCP Server

This community-built MCP server enables AI agents to search and retrieve scholarly metadata from the Crossref REST API. It supports searching works by keyword, title, author, or DOI, finding journals, identifying funders, retrieving reference lists, and exporting results in RIS or BibTeX formats. It requires no API key, though setting a mailto address is recommended for access to the faster polite API pool.
