kr_company_search — Search Korean listed companies

Find KOSPI-listed Korean companies and get their identifiers. Use this first when you only have a company name (English or Korean, e.g. "Samsung Electronics", "삼성전자"), a 6-digit KRX stock code, or an 8-digit DART corp_code. Returns up to 20 ranked candidates with corp_code, stock_code, English name as registered with DART, Korean legal name, and alternate names; exact identifier matches rank first, then larger companies by revenue. Pass a candidate's corp_code to kr_company_profile for financials and filings. Coverage: all KOSPI companies (about 830); KOSDAQ and unlisted companies are not included yet. Source: Korea FSS OpenDART. Read-only, no API key needed.

kr_company_profile — Get Korean company profile and financials

Get the full profile of one KOSPI-listed Korean company: corporate details (English and Korean names, CEO, business and corporate registration numbers, address, website, founding date, fiscal month, industry code), the latest annual financial summary with the prior year (revenue, operating income, net income, total assets, liabilities, equity; integers in KRW as filed, consolidated if available), and DART filings from the last 90 days (up to 20) with original links. Provide exactly one of corp_code or stock_code; if you only have a name, call kr_company_search first. Returns found=false if the company is not covered. Source: Korea FSS OpenDART. kr_business_status — Check Korean business registration status

Check whether Korean business registration numbers are currently active, suspended (temporarily closed), or closed, using the National Tax Service's live API. Use this to verify a Korean supplier, customer, or counterparty before a transaction. Accepts 1–10 ten-digit numbers (hyphens allowed, e.g. "124-81-00998"). Returns per number: status (active | suspended | closed | not_registered), the original Korean status text, tax type, closure date if closed, and check time. You can find a listed company's number in kr_company_profile (business_registration_no). Numbers you submit are not stored. Read-only; queries an external government API in real time.
