CareerGenius resume and job-search tools for a person who asked you to help them. Every output is checked against their own resume; unsupported claims are removed. Outputs are drafts: the person reviews them before use. Free tier: try it without a key - each conversation gets up to 2 free AI tool calls (and up to 10 keyword/PDF calls), within daily limits. Without a key, requests are limited to 96 KB: a typical resume sent as resume_text or the structured resume fits; only small resume files do. Without a key, send the job posting as posting_text (job_url needs a key). A Premium key gives full access: 4,000 calls a month and a $2.50 monthly AI usage cap per account, up to 3 keys, made on the Account page under 'AI agent access (API keys)': https://careergenius.org/agents. Send the key as Authorization: Bearer <key> or X-API-Key: <key>. When the free use is over, a tool answers FREE_LIMIT_REACHED (or FREE_BUSY while free calls are busy) with the reset time. A free call counts once it reaches the AI, a resume render or a file read, even if that step then fails; a call refused before that (bad input, no consent, a limit) does not count. Limits per key: 10 requests a minute, 200 a day; per account: 15 a minute.

Rewords the resume summary and job bullets for one posting. Every rewrite is checked against the resume; rewrites with unsupported claims (added tools, numbers, seniority, results or employers) are removed and listed in held_back by reason code. Every result has "outcome": which lines were reworded, kept or held back, reason codes (such as NO_CHANGES, AI_KEPT_WORDING, ALL_HELD_BACK, MISSING_KEYWORDS_NOT_ADDABLE), the posting keywords the resume does not show (rewording cannot add them), a plain explanation and next steps. One call: give a job posting (text or a public link) and the person's resume (plain text, a PDF or DOCX file in base64, or structured JSON). CareerGenius reads the posting, lists the keywords it asks for and which the resume shows, rewords the summary and bullets for this job, keeps ONLY the rewordings that pass its fact check (no added tools, numbers, titles, results or employers), and returns a clean single-column ATS-readable PDF plus a summary of what changed, what was held back and why. "outcome" explains the result in reason codes and plain words, also when nothing changed: lines reworded / kept / held back, posting keywords the resume does not show, and next steps.
