bash-command-mcp
A sophisticated Bash MCP server that enables safe, structured shell command execution with first-class background job orchestration. It supports foreground and background process management, including starting, listing, killing, and waiting for background processes. The server provides built-in observability via per-process stdout/stderr log files and OpenTelemetry traces and metrics for production visibility. It allows agent-friendly ergonomics with cwd and env overrides for precise execution context.
