AgentGauge MCP

AgentGauge is a public MCP server that allows AI agents to scan any website and grade its readiness for AI agents. It evaluates whether an agent can discover, understand, trust, and transact with a site against the AgentReady standard. The server exposes a single tool, scan_website, which requires no authentication and provides an instant letter grade.

Endpoint and access

No sign-in to connect and list tools. Individual tools may still need a vendor account, credentials, or permissions; check the documented prerequisites.

scan_website — Scan a website for AI readiness
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.

Run an AgentGauge agent-readiness scan of a website. Grades whether AI search can find/cite it and whether AI agents can use/transact with it, against the AgentReady standard. Returns the grade, both gauges, every check with its status, and a link to the full report.

90-day uptime

A lightweight connection check about every six hours, sampled on hosts with many listings. It shows the server answered, not that its tools work.

Too few checks for a percentage yet (1 of 1 answered).

Claude Code

Run this once in a terminal. It registers the remote server. Use --scope project to write .mcp.json for the repo.
Claude Code configuration
claude mcp add --transport http agentgauge-mcp https://mcp.agentgauge.ai/mcp

Codex

Run this once. Codex stores MCP servers in ~/.codex/config.toml (or .codex/config.toml in a trusted project).
Codex configuration
codex mcp add agentgauge-mcp --url https://mcp.agentgauge.ai/mcp

Cursor

Merge this server into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, then enable agentgauge-mcp in your MCP settings.
