Abe MCP

Abe is a free, open-source, local pre-action gate for AI agents that evaluates proposed actions against user-defined policies. It runs entirely on the user's machine without requiring accounts, API keys, or network connectivity for basic checks. Abe returns one of three decisions: ACT to execute, BLOCK to deny, or ESCALATE to send to a resolver. It provides tamper-evident, hash-verified records for auditing and supports integration via Python, TypeScript, HTTP sidecar, Docker, and MCP.
