Agent use case: Send email via SMTP submission

Document v1 · published by Koskamo · updated 2026-10-18

Original source

An email is successfully transmitted through the user's verified mailbox, enabling automated customer communication or support ticket responses.

The agent identifies the appropriate mailbox using list_mailboxes or get_mailbox, then invokes send_email to transmit the message. Before acting, the agent should verify the mailbox exists and is active, and ensure the email content is appropriate for the intended recipient.

Prompt: Send an email from my primary mailbox to support@example.com with the subject 'Ticket Update' and body 'Your issue has been resolved.'
