The agent confirms that the AffiliateBase tracking script is correctly installed, verifies that Stripe Checkout passes the referral ID as client_reference_id, and ensures the first click or conversion is successfully attributed to the affiliate program.
The agent first reads the current setup status to identify incomplete steps. It then retrieves specific installation instructions for the user's checkout path (e.g., Stripe Checkout, Payment Links). It guides the user to verify that the generated referral ID is passed as client_reference_id in the Stripe handoff, explicitly avoiding the use of the ?via token. Finally, it checks if AffiliateBase has recorded a test click or conversion to mark the setup as confirmed.

Prompt: Use AffiliateBase MCP to read my setup status, get install instructions, and help me verify that Stripe Checkout receives the generated referral ID as client_reference_id before marking setup complete. Do not use the ?via token as client_reference_id. The AI should read setup state first, then recommend the simplest next action. When your tool can see your code, it can make the install changes with you.
