Carstat MCP

A native Model Context Protocol server provided by Carstat that gives AI agents structured tools for querying vehicle specifications, decoding VINs, and retrieving NHTSA recall and safety rating data. It supports 12 typed tools and resources, using the same prepaid credit system as the REST API.

Decode a 17-character VIN to identify vehicle make, model, year, and build plant
Search and rank vehicles by specific metrics or criteria
Retrieve NHTSA safety ratings and recall campaigns for specific vehicles
Compare specifications between two to four different vehicle variants
