Reactive forms utilize observable streams for synchronous, predictable, and consistent data access, ensuring immutability and integrity between changes. Unlike template-driven forms, which rely on two-way binding embedded in the template with mutable data to track changes asynchronously, reactive forms offer explicit control and a straightforward path to testing. To implement a basic control, generate a component, import ReactiveFormsModule into the component’s imports array, and instantiate a FormControl with an initial value in the class. Register this control in the template using the formControl binding from FormControlDirective. For grouped controls, use FormGroup for fixed sets or FormArray for dynamic run-time additions. Create a FormGroup instance by mapping named keys to their respective control instances in the component class, then associate this model with the view to manage multiple inputs as a single unit.
