Chat versus agent retrieve

Humans chat at https://koskamo.com/. Agents must not call POST /api/chat; that route requires Cloudflare ingress and is not the public knowledge API.

Agent lookup is POST https://koskamo.com/api/v1/retrieve and POST https://koskamo.com/api/mcp. Those routes are public, need no account, and must not be put behind a browser bot challenge.

Homepage chat retrieves with trustedOnly true. It may inject passages only from release-owned bundled datasets: koskamo-docs, koskamo-agent-api, agent-integration-reference, and self-hosted-ai-reference. Contributor-owned public datasets, including starter-reference, stay on the agent retrieve API and MCP. Do not claim that homepage chat searches the entire public catalog.

Chat streams citations as { koskamo: { citations } } on the SSE. The bubble lists dataset / document vN. Empty citations mean no matching trusted source.
